친화력과 호기심  (성격소개:친화력 -> 나만의 자기소개법) 1.     Who am I? My name is Jung Lim. A word which describe me most is amiable(에이미어블) and curious.. I have enjoyed meeting people in many such as ways, travel, leadership club and even in the airplane. He is passenger sit by.   I will tell you my introduction skill. My name is 임 정. When someone ask me name ‘. Oh, do you know the Provisional Government of ROK? As known as 임시정부? Do you know this institute? The Abbreviation of that word have same sound with my name.”  Then, people said ‘ah’.  Because when I was high school, Everytime, my friends studied Modern History on Korea, they poped up the door and shouted hey 임시정부! I learnt about you today! Then I replied oh I see. Then I start to this episode to introduce myself. 2분   (여기서 엔터) (고등학교 이름표, 한자) – 고등학교 졸업사진 보여주며 시작 2.     Here is one picture. This is my graduate ceremony picture with Jiman is here 😊 Interestingly, my high school have nameplate with Chinese name. Most students and teacher hard to recognize others name for the first time.  (여기서 엔터) Except for Me. (Showing my name). Yes, My chinese name is super easy. all of classmate can remember my name on the first day of freshman. Anyway, So I satisfy it. It is easy, short, and meaningful to remember. In same way, My English name is Jay. The first letter of name. Yes the simple is the best.   (여기서 엔터) 두번째 특질은 호기심과 영감 3.     Guess what I have done. Do research in lab. The second characteristic of me is curiosity and Inspiration. Curiosity from knowledge and inspiration from ppl drive me laboratory and drive me here too Toastmasters too. Everyweek Pangyo TM give me many experience. I believe Experience is worth more than possession. I look forward to giving and taking inspiration among the ppl here, I would like to address myself more in the close future. Thank you for listening.

The Message was clear and easy to understand

Well prepared and organized

Some words are not clear, but mostly, the speaker spoke clearly

- Did the speech have definite opening, body, conclusion?

The speaker had a define opening, but it could be better if he had time more define closing

- Please comment on the speaker's use of notes

He didn't use any notes, but made a perfect speech.

- What could the speaker have done difficulty that would have improved the speech?

If he could use variations like pause in between or emphasis in necessary part, the speech could be more interesting and appearing.

- What did you like about the presentation?

I like the way he presented his characters with visuals.

eye contact / message  clear easy / organized / 대본없었어도 잘했을 듯 /성격 이해하기 좋았다.

Most improved: some word not clear pronounced. 시작은 좋았지만 마무리가 너무 미흡했다. 강소/멈춤으로 variation 획득해야함.

총평

이주일동안 고통만 받고 전날 번개같이 해버린 Ice Breaker가 끝이났다.

연습할때는 잘만 흘러가던 시간이 실전에서는 말을 너무 빨리해서 예상된 시간보다 늦게갔다.

무엇보다도 마음이 급해 말을 빨리했는데 그것보다 강조/멈춤 등의 기술을 이용하여 중요한 단어를 짚어야함을. Variation을 주어야함을 깨달았다.

오프닝과 구성은 좋았으나 마무리가 너무 빠르게되서 그리고 연설의 방향이 나중에 흔들려서 개선되어야하는 피드백을 받았다.

사실 부정적인 평가가 나올까봐 청중의  반응은 잘 살펴보지 않은채 (예를들면 Guess what i have done문단의 경우 청중의 반응을 기다릴 시간이 없었다.. 너무 마음마 급했음). 좀더 자연스럽게 생각하고 Fail in advance라고 생각하면서 천천히 차분하게 해보자.

다음목표는 1월 31일 2nd Session of Speech.

4회 참여를 하면서 거의 발표연설의 1/3정도 듣는거 같다. 실전 리스닝이 약해서 사람들이 듣는얘기들을 다 들을수없어서 안타깝다.

하지만 그런 빠른 말이 오가는 와중에서도 Accent와 variation이 명확한 Arisae 님의 연설과 이야기는 너무나도 잘들려서 

단어의 사용법에도 중요함이 있음을 깨닫는 와중이다.
